Often, we hear the phrase, "Your brain is not the problem; your mind is." To understand this concept better, let's draw a parallel with your iPhone. While it boasts a camera and screen, its functionality is driven by iOS, the operating system. Similarly, your brain serves as the hardware, and your mind is the software that runs it. Just like an operating system upgrade optimizes your device's performance, an enhanced awareness of the connection between your mind and brain can lead to smoother functioning of your physical body.
So, what exactly is this operating system called "MIND"?
Think of the mind as an invisible entity enveloping you, with its core residing in the pit of your stomach, often referred to as the GUT. This article aims to explore the mind and its profound interconnection with the body, giving rise to our physical existence.
Your physical body has several layers surrounding it: the Causal Body (or Thought Body), the Astral Body (or Emotion Body), and the Energy Body (or Aura).

Everything in life begins with a thought. The mind retrieves thoughts from the thought body and translates them into a blueprint for the actions to be taken. For example, consider the thought of taking a leisurely walk around a lake. Initially, it's just a thought. However, as the mind engages, the thought evolves, leading to a cascade of pleasant memories and feelings of rejuvenation. These thoughts set energy in motion, transitioning from static to kinetic energy, otherwise known as "e-motion." The mind perceives this emotion as vibrations. These heightened vibrations enhance energy flow. Through the energy body's wheels (Chakras), the mind communicates with the brain, which, in turn, co-ordinates the muscular actions required for the enjoyable walk around the lake.
Now, let's expand on this example. Imagine sharing this thought with a friend who suddenly feels disturbed. Why does this happen? Simply contemplating a walk around the lake might trigger a chain of painful memories related to lakes in their past. Their mind perceives negative emotions, impacting their energy body and prompting feelings of tiredness, lethargy, or sudden aches and pains. This intricate network of thoughts, emotions, energy, and brain functions entirely within the realm of the MIND.
As thoughts begin to move, past painful, hurtful, or traumatic memories often surface from the database of your subconscious mind. This happens more frequently when you are exposed to a high volume of messages from your body, environment, your analytical conditioning, and the autopilot mode of your subconscious mind.
During your sleep, the mind processes your experiences along with your emotions - your conclusions from the experiences, your decisions, your beliefs and stores all of it in your subconscious mind, exactly like how a recovery drive backs up all your information.
Achieving the alignment of body and mind, known as "MINDFULNESS," involves mastering the ability to halt the progression of thoughts that trigger chains of thoughts. In essence, it's about regaining control over your mental processes and being in the present moment.
Much like maintaining a device by clearing out unnecessary files and data, keeping your mind clean and clutter-free is essential for experiencing harmony between your mind and body. When there is a misalignment, it can lead to stress, anxiety, and even physical ailments. This alignment holds the key to unlocking your true potential and overall well-being.
